If you have an on-premises Microsoft Exchange server, there is finally an easy way to save you time and money by eliminating up to 99% or more of those annoying spam messages and email viruses. Mode5 Mail Security is included in our Mode5 Managed IT service but available for purchase separately as well.
Five Benefits of Mode5 Mail Security
Inbound and Outbound Email Protection
Mode5 Mail Security acts as an organization’s gated “front door,” shielding Internet facing SMTP gateways and message servers from numerous threats so that only legitimate email is delivered to user’s inboxes. The Mode5 Mail Security filtering system is continually revised 2,000-4,000 times per day to ensure protection from even the newest Spammer tricks and tactics. It works on multiple platforms and utilizes proprietary detection systems, 4 virus scanning engines, more than 60 filtering techniques, and front-wave protection to rid inbound and outbound email from spam, worms, viruses and all other protocol based vulnerabilities.
Save Time and Money
With Mode5 Mail Security, all of your email is filtered to remove spam before it ever hits your mailbox. This prevents you from having to sort through and store all that junk email every day. This also prevents the possibility of a user accidentally opening up a virus from a spam email.
Easy to Use
With Mode5 Mail Security, you will receive a Held Mail Report each day. This email will contain a list of each spam messages that was filtered. This is very convenient because there is no need to log in to a separate website to view held mail.
Easy setup and No Hardware Needed
Complete implementation of the Mode5 Mail Security system can be achieved in just one day. There is no hardware or software required. Successful implementation is as simple as changing MX records within your DNS for each domain that requires filtering services.
If a client-side server is not accepting email for any reason, such as Internet connection failures, power outages, natural disaster, Local Area Network failures, internal routing problems, mail server hardware or software failures, Mode5 Mail Security’s delivery manager will encrypt and queue email until the client server is back online. In addition, emergency mail services are available if a prolonged outage occurs. This enables you to access email directly from the Mode5 Mail Security server to send and receive emails while you are offline.
