Windows 10 Arriving

October 2, 2014

Yes you read that right. Microsoft has decided that 9 is just too pedestrian and has jumped right to Windows 10. Microsoft unveiled the new operating system this week and it is expected to be released in 2015.

We don’t know too much but it looks like the start menu is returning which is a huge plus. Many users of Windows 8 were very annoyed by the Metro (tablet) interface that was forced up on users. The start menu brings back a more seamless blend of the familiarity of Windows 7 with the tablet benefits of Windows 8. You can click here for the Engadget write up on the unveiling and some Windows 10 screenshots.

We are still in the early stages and will keep you posted. The good news is that it looks like Windows 10 will be easier for end users which is something we should all be happy about.
