On Saturday, December 10, Team Mode5 volunteers will gather at the Virginia Beach Oceanfront’s 24th Street Park to participate in the largest holiday-themed 5K race series anywhere. That’s right! This year Mode5 is tying jingle bells to our shoelaces and raising funds for the Arthritis Foundation’s Virginia Beach Jingle Bell Run. We are joining the movement to conquer arthritis!
More than 50 million Americans, including 300,000 children suffer from Arthritis. Arthritis is much more than just aches and pains. Some types of arthritis also affect the heart, eyes, lungs, kidneys and skin as well as the joints. Arthritis is America’s #1 cause of disability. Arthritis hurts – and steals everyday joys and long-term dreams.
The 2016 Jingle Bell Run is going to be a great event full of fun, family, holiday costumes, music and joy! We need your support to make this event a huge success. Come and join the Mode5 team (or form your own team) and complete the 5-kilometer run or walk to support the Arthritis Foundation. Wear a holiday-themed costume. Tie jingle bells to your shoelaces. Show off your ugly Christmas sweater. Come on out and cheer us on.
